Principles Ledger

RATIFIED 0  ·  UNDER TEST 0  ·  KILLED 2

Every candidate principle gets an entry here when it goes public, dated. A candidate moves through exactly one lifecycle: CANDIDATE → UNDER TEST → RATIFIED or KILLED. Evidence accumulates against an entry forever. Nothing is backdated, padded, or quietly deleted.

The record

Finishing > Starting

KILLED   entered 2026-07-31 · killed 2026-07-31, in pressure testing

Cause of death: its own enforcement record contradicted it. The volume of machinery required to force finishing was evidence of a weakness being managed, not a principle being held. A real principle does not need forty reminders.

KILLED   entered 2026-07-31 · killed 2026-07-31, in pressure testing

Cause of death: pointed at your own work it is a discipline. Pointed at other people it reads as surveillance, and a printed object carries no scope note. It is also silent on decisions under uncertainty. You cannot hold a receipt for the future.

Nothing is currently under test. When the next candidates go public, they enter here first, with their test windows stated in advance.
